It is an opportunity for me to understand your family dynamics and the environment you plan for a puppy.

1. Is this going to be a first family pet? First dog? (Please provide info on other pets you've had in the past.)
2. What other pets will be in the same household as this dog? (specify type and M or F)
3. If you've had a dog in the past, under what circumstances do you no longer have it?
4. What research have you done on Beagles? (Provide information on what you believe are the pros and cons of owning a beagle.)
5. What training research have you done? (Potty, kennel, behavior, etc.) Give some examples of principles you think are important to training.
6. What made you decide that a Beagle would be a good pet for your family?
7. Who will be the primary care giver of this dog?
8. Do you have kids/grandkids? If so, have they been around dogs?
9. Does anyone in the household have allergies to any sort of pet dander? (If yes, please let me know how you plan to mitigate this issue.)
10. Do you live in a house? Have a backyard?
11. Who is going to be home full time with the puppy for the initial 7 day, settling in, period?
12. After the initial, settling in, period how many hours a day do you anticipate the dog will be alone?
13. Are you prepared to enroll in obedience classes with your Beagle? Where?
14. Do you have a dog park close by?<
15. Do you consider yourselves an active family?
16. If you are WFH because of Corona Virus, what is your plan for the puppy if/when you have to return to work?
17. Do you have a reputable pet sitter and vet lined up already? If so who/where?
18. Do you prefer female or male and why?

Please remember it is my ultimate goal to place these puppies with families that I know will
be responsible and loving and provide a healthy environment.

A beagle is a long-term commitment (12-14 years) so I want you to be prepared to add a new family member that will
be around for many, many years. (Think of this as adopting a child!)

Please submit with this application at least 3 pictures of both the indoor & outdoor
environments this puppy will be enjoying. Yards/Gates should be secure, indoor environment
should be baby proofed (esp. any cables, may be on the ground.) Puppies chew anything!
